Carolyn has been a Realtor serving Southern Maryland since 1995. Her credentials include receiving the GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute). And she has been a Top Producer since 2000. She served on the SMAR (Southern Maryland Association of REAL TORS) Board of Directors and on the Professional Standards Committee at SMAR. She is one of a few REALTORS in Southern Maryland who is authorized by the National Trust for Historic Preservation to market historic properties. Carolyn says, "Buying or selling a home shouldn't be a traumatic experience. You're fulfilling a dream, whether it's buying your first home, moving up to a new home so your family can grow, or preparing for retirement. With something as important as your family's dream shouldn't you work with someone who's experienced, educated and excited to help you?" She says, "I'm passionate about real estate itself, being an experienced investor ... but I haven't forgotten the first-time experience either." Carolyn believes that when you're in a career whose legislative conditions are constantly changing, you've got to stay informed. She's been a mentor to other Realtors since 2001 and has volunteered her time, serving on the SMAR Education Committee. She has also been an instructor for orientation of new REALTORS at SMAR for years. She feels that serving the community doesn't stop at education. Carolyn has served as a Habitat for Humanity committee member in 1999 and continues to stay active in community groups, including Hospice of Charles County and the St.Mary's County Historical Society. Carolyn is married and has two grown children. When not working in real estate, she enjoys gardening, traveling and playing with her dogs.
